menopause symptoms

One of my older friends has strange symptoms which I may regard as menopausal - sudden bouts of bloat, depression, incontinence, trouble sleeping through the night and many others. What's wrong with her? Is this menopause indeed?

It depends on the age of course, but many of the symptoms which you list here are really the symptoms of menopause.
