    I am in my early twentys and struggle to lead a normal life because my immune system is so low. I am frequently getting colds flu and very bad stomach bugs which make me very ill for long periods of time. I am constantly feeling tired and drained and never have any energy. The stomach bugs make me very sick and i loose alot of weight because of them. I also loose my appetite to eat for weeks after having them.

    Could you please give me some advice on how to boost my immune system so i can fight off these nasty bugs.

    Eat more foods that help to support immune system.

    Nothing can compare to natural sources of the immune-boosting antioxidants, such as

    • kiwi fruit, which contain more vitamin C than oranges;

    • chinese cabbage, which is an excellent source of vitamin A;

    • avocado, that provides the optimum healthy ratio of fat, carbohydrate, protein and vitamin E;

    • bananas, carrots, lentils, tuna, salmon, wholegrain flour, and sunflower seeds - they are rich in vitamin B6, which boost the production of antibodies to fight infection;

    • seafood, eggs, turkey, pumpkin seeds, and crabmeat are the source of zinc.
